When exactly is the proper time to seek assistance? There is a natural instinct to want to help your loved one maintain independence as long as possible. However, early intervention can help avert a crisis. At ElderCare Services of CT, we know it is difficult to know exactly when to step in.

1) The first step is recognizing concerns. Take notice if your loved one has exhibited any of the following:

Increased confusion or memory loss - Learn the symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease
Depression or mood swings
Increased isolation
Appetite changes

Anxiety and confusion over taking medications
Changes in sleep patterns
